For Iowa Stuck On Huck Grassroots Supporters - "The Huck Starts Here"

Governor Mike Huckabee is making his announcement about a 2012 presidential bid tonight on "The Huckabee Show" starting at 7 p.m. CST.  There hasn't been this much suspense to a decision since Lebron James told the world he was going to play for the Miami Heat on ESPN last fall.

Since yesterday when Huckabee shared his decision timing, most of the media have speculated that Huckabee would not run for president - and just like Lebron James, he would be talking his talents to Florida where Huckabee is building a new home.  A blog yesterday at TheIowaRepublican.com reflected this sentiment with the headline, "The Huck Stops Here."

While Governor Huckabee has been considering a potential 2012 presidential bid, his grassroots supporters started to mobilize in Iowa.  Soon after two key staffers from Huckabee's 2008 campaign team committed to other candidates, "Stuck On Huck" was born in Iowa on April 1st.

The true grassroots movement caught national media attention and has helped fill a natural void during Huckabee's "decision time."  It has helped keep the Huckabee message positive while helping to build some momentum even before he announces his presidential intentions.  The Iowa grassroots supporters are ready, willing and able to passionately fuel a second campaign - knowing that because Iowa has the first caucus - that the "Huck Starts Here."

"Radio Stuck On Huck" has been a weekly online radio show on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. CST.  The nationwide show has attracted fervent Huckabee supporters from across the nation expressing their support for Huckabee's vision for America.  There will be a "Special Edition - Huckabee's Decision" radio show tonight at 8 p.m. CST after the announcement - HuckRadio.com.

Stuck On Huck has also just published it's first e-book, "More Than 57 Reasons Mike Huckabee Should Become President" - written and compiled by brothers Dan & Dave Davidson, co-founders of Stuck on Huck and writers of this blog entry.  The e-book is available as a free digital download for Mike Huckabee supporters to share with family and friends at HuckReasons.com.

In the voice of an open letter and tone of an extended greeting card, the e-book includes letters and tributes to Huckabee to show him support.  It is also for “Stuck On Huck” supporters to share on social media as a digital grassroots tool of mobilization.

Stuck On Huck has announced an exciting grassroots event Saturday, June 4th in Des Moines Iowa - the Stuck On Huck Pledge Vote Rally. We will be inviting high profile celebrities, musicians and politicians to attend or provide a video showing support for Huckabee.  Future Huckabee voters will be invited to travel to Des Moines and sign a "Pledge Vote"  supporting Mike Huckabee..

The June 4th rally will also be a nationwide event with a live online streaming of the Des Moines meeting with simultaneous “Virtual House Party” gatherings in all 50 states. This will serve to fan the flames of passionate voters across the nation.  Supporters can pledge to attend this event and learn more at HuckRally.com.

The rally will be held at the American Institute of Business College ( 2500 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, Iowa 50321 ) on Saturday June 4th, 2011 from 2-4 p.m.

QR Coding - Another Step In Sharing The Message - Promote HuckRally.com

What is this strange graphic that looks like an unfinished game of "connect the dots?"  It's a QR code - short for "quick response."  It's a quick way to share a specific web link, web site or email address - all you need is a custom QR code and an app on your phone to scan the code. Magically the web link or email address is read and appears on your phone.

This QR code is specific for the website http://HuckRally.com.  If you have a QR scan app on your phone you can scan the graphic right from the computer screen.  I must say this is really cool.  I use the ATT QR scanner app on my iphone and love it - it quickly recognizes any QR code using the camera mode on the phone and the app is free!  It's also available for the Android and Blackberry.

Why am I blogging about QR codes?  Because it's another creative way to communicate and share a message with others.  QR codes have been the most popular in Asian countries and is now just starting to be used more in the US.  You will start seeing them more and more in the future.  Click here to learn more.

Stuck on Huck has created QR codes for some of the most popular and relevant websites and web links that share Mike Huckabee's vision for American.  Please go to HuckQR.com to start using and sharing!

QR codes can be saved in a jpg image file format and shared digitally, but also can be part of a flyer, poster, postcard or business card etc.  Those who know how to scan them will easily recognize a QR code and be more likely to visit a web link or capture an email address contact.  So start thinking how you can integrate QR codes into websites, blogs, facebook posts and physical printing items.

You can easily create your own QR codes for free at http://QR.net.  We are asking you to help promote the "Stuck On Huck Pledge Vote Rally & Tribute" on Saturday June 4th from 2-4 p.m. in Des Moines IA. The QR code is included above in this blog.  Here are other ways you can share it -

Share the web url in a blog or website - http://images.qr.net/b1co

Here is the embed code to use - <a href="http://qr.net/b1co"><img src="http://images.qr.net/b1co" /></a>

Download the code as a jpg file - http://qr.net/share/b1co

To share this on Facebook you can click "Like" or comment on the following facebook post on our StuckOnHuck.com Facebook fan page - https://www.facebook.com/hucksarmy/posts/202266986476323.

You can create your own Facebook post by first click on "Link" and them pasting the web url of the
QR code - http://images.qr.net/b1co - then write more in the share comment section to explain what the code is.

Let us know how you are using QR codes.  Please share any other ways you can see additional benefits of QR coding.

Stuck On Huck Supporters Should Focus On Huckabee's Vision More Than His Decision

There seems to be a preoccupation of political speculation regarding Mike Huckabee's decision to run for president in 2012.  The forums, blogs, tweets and Facebook comments are lit up with worries and concerns that Huckabee may not have "fire in the belly" because he hasn't committed yet.

At this point we think as a Huck supporter it's all or nothing - we have nothing to lose and everything to gain by supporting and encouraging him to run and sharing with supporters and others what his vision for America is.

It's time to focus on Huckabee's vision - more than his decision.

Even if he doesn't run for president again, his value and views - his policies and principles are what this nation needs.  He would continue to have a platform to influence the social, cultural and political framework of our country.

So for now, if you are "Stuck On Huck" our suggestion is that we focus on what he stands for.  A good place to start is to read and share the principles he reflects in his latest best-selling book, "A Simple Government."  Learn even more at MikeHuckabee.com.

Personally we think he has to be somewhat vague now to avoid having his television contract with Fox News suspended.   Because of his Fox show and his multiple appearances on other Fox programs, he is asked more often about his decision to run than any other candidate.  This naturally puts an extra spotlight on his decision.

Huckabee has to keep things general about his decision for now and not show too much enthusiasm quite yet.  He does have "fire in the belly" when it comes to the issues.  He is taking strong stances on policies everyday and had the strongest reaction to bin Laden's recent death compared to other GOP candidates.

Each week he is still at Fox he appears on several shows including of course his own.  This may be worth millions of dollars each week in exposure.  If he ends up running, his approach now will be a very wise one.  Once he gets in the race, there should be no doubt that he will be focused and passionate and few will be talking about what he said the month before he decided.

If you are a loyal Huckabee supporter let us ask - do you have "fire in the belly?"  Or do you spend a lot of time regurgitating theories and motives about his decision to run for president.  That can cause political indigestion!

Now is the time to build up momentum for a potential presidential campaign.  Huck supporters need something positive to focus on - like the "Stuck On Huck Pledge Vote Rally & Tribute" to Mike Huckabee in Des Moines on June 4th.  Make the political pilgrimage to Iowa or sponsor a virtual house party - register at HuckRally.com.  Help us invite 10,000 friends at Invitathon.com.

Pledge your vote at HuckPledge.com.  Send a message to Governor Huckabee at Huckaletters.com or HuckReasons.com.  Submit a video supporting him at HuckVideo.com. Call in or listen to our weekly radio show on Thursdays 9 p.m. CST at HuckRadio.com.  Join the prayer team at HuckPrayer.com.  Learn the truth about the issues at HuckTruth.com.

Retweet the best positive Huckabee messages on Twitter at HuckTweets.com. Support conservative principles and candidates at Huck Pac.  Become a Facebook fan of Mike Huckabee, Huck's Army, Huck Nation, Draft Huckabee 2012, and Stuck On Huck.

Do what you can now to spread his "vision" to others.  And don't worry so much about his "decision".  That's probably something we should leave to Huckabee and heaven right now.

Speaking Words Of Wisdom - Huckabee! Matt & Jared Record New Song For 2012 Season

Matt and Jared have recorded another great song as a tribute to Mike Huckabee.  They were a YouTube hit in the 2008 campaign and appeared with Governor at multiple rallies on the campaign trail.

There latest song is a political take-off with the theme "Speaking Words Of Wisdom - Huckabee!"  Ben Smith from Politico.com mentioned the song last week and that helped fuel 10,000 views in the first two days!

Matt Robins and Jared Shelton have been Huckabee fans since 2007, when Jared showed Matt an Iowa based campaign commercial featuring Chuck Norris, and according to Matt, he “ended up agreeing with pretty much everything he stood for.”
A few months later, in December of 2007, a family friend of Jared’s showed the duo a parody video to “Here Comes Santa Claus” posted on Huckabee’s website, and suggested that they attempt the same endeavor. A half hour later Matt had penned the lyrics to their most watched YouTube video, “Breakfast at Huckabees”, which earned enough feedback, both positive and negative, that the duo decided to make a few more videos, based on songs that are easily identifiable within their age group, which continued to perform well on YouTube.
Eventually they were recognized by the Governor himself and invited to perform their songs at rallies and events in South Carolina in February of 2008.  Source - USElectionNews.org
We hope to have Matt and Jared on an upcoming radio show on the Radio Stuck On Huck show Thursdays at 9 p.m. CST. - Look for descriptions for upcoming shows at HuckRadio.com.

Over Half Of Voters Would Be Enthusiastic About Mike Huckabee As GOP Nominee

Sarah Palin and Donald Trump need to work on their favorability with the American public. Nearly two-thirds of American say they would not support them as a presidential candidate.

Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney favor much better with over half of voters polled recently saying they would be enthusiastic if they were the GOP nominee.  It's still very early in the race and Romney recently announced that he was running for president.  Huckabee has said consistently that he will make a decision by this summer.

(Reuters) - Nearly 60 percent of Americans would never support a Republican presidential bid by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin or real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump, according to a new poll Wednesday.
But the Quinnipiac University poll of 1,408 voters found that about half would consider or be enthusiastic about backing former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney or former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in the November 2012 election.
"Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee are in the best shape. Sarah Palin and Donald Trump suffer from the reality that, as our mothers told us, 'You never get a second chance to make a first impression,'" said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.
Among the 613 Republican and independent Republican-leaning voters, the poll showed Romney as favorite to win the Republican presidential nomination with 18 percent, followed by Huckabee and Palin with 15 percent and Trump with 12 percent.
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and former House of Representatives Speaker Newt Gingrich each have 5 percent, while former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann and both on 4 percent.

Huckabee Gives Strongest GOP Statement - Welcome To Hell Bin Laden!

MIke Huckabee offered the statement below about the news of Osama bin Laden's death.  Several media sites pointed out that Huckabee had the strongest statement among GOP presidential hopefuls.
It is unusual to celebrate a death, but today Americans and decent people the world over cheer the news that madman, murderer and terrorist Osama Bin Laden is dead. The leader of Al Qaeda--- responsible for the deaths of 3000 innocent citizens on September 11, 2001, and whose maniacal hate is responsible for the deaths of thousands of US servicemen and women was killed by U.S. military. President Obama confirmed the announcement late last night. DNA tests confirmed his death and his body is in the possession of the U. S.
It has taken a long time for this monster to be brought to justice. Welcome to hell, bin Laden. Let us all hope that his demise will serve notice to Islamic radicals the world over that the United States will be relentless is tracking down and terminating those who would inflict terror, mayhem and death on any of our citizens.
Governor Huckabee has had a strong consistent stance on fighting the islamic extremists and the ongoing war on terror.

Mike Huckabee Criticizes Globalists - Superman Is No Longer Proud To Be An American

Superman is a comic book figure, but the trend toward a globalist world view is not really too funny.  Mike Huckabee recently reacted to the news that Superman was renouncing his US citizenship - so much for "Truth, Justice and the American Way."

To make matters even worse, Superman supposedly is to make the announcement of his citizenship switch directly to the United Nations!  It is nothing more than a shock stunt by DC Comics to sell more comic books, but Governor Huckabee made some great points in a recent interview -
“Well it is a comic book, but, it is disturbing that Superman who has always been an American icon is now saying I’m not going to be a citizen. I think it’s a part of a bigger trend of Americans almost apologizing for being Americans.
Watch the video below as Huckabee takes the opportunity to distinguish American values with new globalist views.

“Here’s the point that I think we need to make from a policy standpoint, this idea that if we quit being so American our enemies will love us. What kind of idiocy is that? That’s not going to make them love us more. They don’t hate us just because we are Americans. They hate us because we represent everything they consider to be horrible, individual freedom, individual responsibility, a sense in which we have liberties that are not confined to somebody else’s idea of what we ought to be doing with our every moment of every day," added Huckabee.
Remember when people cherished the realization of our amazing freedoms and liberties as a U.S. citizen.  Remember when more people seemed to be "proud to be an American."

The words to the song by Lee Greenwood probably say it best -

Artist: Lee Greenwood
Song: Proud To Be An American

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘ Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.

Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And I’m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
